We’ve started collecting books about Christmas + or about snow to create a feeling of Christmas, and December even though we are far from real snowflakes.

If You Take a Mouse to the Movies by Laura Numeroff
Merry Christmas with Love by Chris Shea

The Christmas Journey by Donna VanLiere

Silent Night, Scholastic Books

We haven’t picked out any of them, they have all been gifted or passed along. So I’ve started a tenative list of ones we’d like to buy or collect. Most of them come from “Honey For a Child’s Heart”, and internet research (maybe a little too much).

The Little Fir Tree by Margaret Wise Brown

The Nutcracker by Susan Jeffers
Bear Noel by Olivier Dunrea
The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats
A Penguin Story by Antoinette Portis
The Christmas Miracle of Jonathan Toomey

Do you have any favorites we can add to the list, or have you read any of the want list and dis-recommend them?
