We have kitchen cabinets.
It’s been a long process.
First, we did everything on the floor: eating, cooking, hanging out…
Then Michael built the counter frames, and we did everything on top of the plywood.
Jessie and Michael covered the top with cement.
Michael wrestled beautiful built-in cabinets out of random, twisted wood. He worked with minimal tools, and frustrating supplies to create something customely special for me.
The view from the corner. Look at that cement counter top.
It’s never easy to create from scratch.
I’m so grateful to my handsome husband for sticking with it.
